According to recent reports by the United Nations, a woman or girl is killed by an intimate partner or family member every 11 minutes worldwide. Many women who seek help cannot find a safe place to stay, or they receive help too late. Even in countries with women’s shelters, there are often not enough places available.

With “Instant Getaway”, we give private individuals the opportunity to offer their empty apartments or rooms at short notice to female victims of domestic violence.

By turning Airbnb listings into safe accommodations, we create a safety net that is quickly accessible and always available when women need it most.
